"Nofziger" is my political memoir. It covers my time in politics and government from l966 to 1990. During this period I worked in various capacities for Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon and was involved in numerous campaigns including those of Reagan, Nixon and Ford. The book provides an insider's view of many of the political players of the '60s, '70s and '80s.

"Tackett" is the first book of a Western trilogy that evolved into a quadrilogy and will probably end as a pentology, if there are such words. Tackett is an uneducated, untutored, unlettered western drifter who, nevertheless is a kind of knight errant who goes around getting in trouble and rescuing damsels in distress. The only political message in the book is that good eventually triumphs.

"Tackett and the Teacher" is more of the above as Tackett attempts to rescue a naive young teacher from the bad guy's clutches. Of course he succeeds.

"Tackett and the Saloon Keeper" is more of the above except this time the damsel in distress runs a saloon. In this book we also discover the genuine last of the Mohicans, which James Fenimore Cooper never did.

"Tackett and the Indian." In this book Tackett makes friends of a renegate Nez Perce Indian, finds his father, and rescues not one but two damsels.
